Most of the clothing today is made of synthetic, fossil fuel-based materials such as nylon or polyester.
When washing our clothes, countless particles end up in thewastewater. Microplastic fibres are particularly difficult to filter out.

How it works ?

• Put synthetic and/or delicate clothes in the GUPPYFRIEND® Washing Bag. (fille max. 2/3)
• Wash as usual together with other garments at 40°C/104F/warm max
• Take out wet clothes. Remove the released microfibres from the upper corners
• Dispose of them in the residual waste
